Front Row: There were two assignments due- 1.) due on December 21, and 2.) due on January 3. Many of you still have not completed these articles, and remember they count as a grade. Also, many of you are doing these articles too quickly, and are doing very poorly. Remember I get a report each week telling me the activities that you worked on, how long you worked on each article, and your scores. THIS IS VERY GOOD PRACTICE FOR MAP TESTING!!!!

Homework for this week in My Perspectives (Pearson Realize) will be assigned during class, including Selection Tests.

You should continue to review your Reading Notebook and your My Perspectives textbook for the Midterm Exams which will be coming up in two weeks.

The bag should be brought in before Wednesday. Parents, please let your child (or write me a note) know what books you would like him/her to bring home over the break, so we do not pack them away in the shopping bag.

G. Lesson and Carols- Thursday, 12/21 at 8:30 am in the church. All parents are invited to attend. The children may wear nice clothes to school and do not need to bring their bookbags. They should bring some type of bag to carry home any candy or cards they get in school.

H. Christmas Party- Thursday, 12/21 after Lessons and Carols. We will be ordering pizza because no lunch will be served in school.

1.I ask that any student who wants to order pizza to please bring in $3.00 by Wednesday. They are also free to bring their own lunch if they do not want to eat pizza.

2.Each child should also bring in something to drink for themselves (maybe a can or small bottle of soda/juice/water), not for the whole class.

3. Please also send in some type of treat to share with the class (cupcakes, donuts, cookies, chips, etc.). I also need someone to bring in plates and napkins. Let me know what you will be sending in asap, so we don’t have too many of one thing.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy New Year! May God bless you all in 2018 =)
