 WEEKLY REMINDERS: 

GRADE 7-HOMEROOM 

 

A. Please sign in to Google Classroom and press on the link for Zoom. You will stay connected from 8:00-3:00. Whatever teacher you have will let you know if you have a bathroom break or lunch break. Please read Mr. Woods’ blog for rules about remote learning (home). Attendance will be taken during each class. This link will be good for the rest of the school year (2020-2021). 

 

B. Remember to wear a mask and bring your supplies each day. 

 

C. Schedule of classes for Grade 7 (Monday-Friday) 

8:00-8:15Prayers, Pledge, and Attendance

10:30-11:15 Science (except Mondays- the students will be going on a

11:15-12:00 Math (except Thursdays- the students will be going on a    

                Daily Walk with Eric) 

12:00-12:45 Math 

12:45-1:30 LUNCH 

1:30-2:15 Religion (except Wednesdays- the students will be going on a

D. Please fill out the income surveys being sent home today (Monday) and return before Thursday, 10/1/20. 

 

E. Remote Learners: Please pick up you’re my Perspectives textbook at the school office Monday-Friday between the hours of 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM

ELA/Reading Homework for Grade 6  

 

My Perspectives (savvasrealize.com)- Please review online the story, vocabulary, and concepts (word study and conventions) that we are working on in class. We will be taking a baseline assessment this week to find your Lexile level. 

 

I will be assigning homework in class for ELA since we will be using a variety of materials such as My Perspectives, Voyages, Common Lit, No Red Ink, and The Lightning Thief.  

 

All classwork/homework will be assigned on Google Classroom. Directions will be specified in terms of students working from home and those working in class.  

 

All assignments must be submitted on the date due or points will be deducted. 

 

Please make sure that you have The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan (2005) book each day for class. 

 

 

Social Studies Homework for Grade 6  

 

Unit 1 Early Humankind/ Chapter 1: The World’s Early People 

 

You will be copying the notes for Chapter 1 (the link will be on google classroom. The notes may be completed in one of the following ways: 

 

Students working from home: 

a. You may write the notes in a notebook and take a picture of each page and send it to me on the due date. 

b. You may write the notes on looseleaf and take a picture of each page and send it to me on the due date. 

 

Students working in class: 

You may write the notes in a notebook or on looseleaf and you will hand it in to be checked on the date due. 

 

Notes will be posted on Thursday,9/24, and will be due Wednesday, 10/1. Notes may not be typed.
