Weekly Reminders:
GRADE 4-HOMEROOM

A. Gym uniforms must be worn by 4th graders on Tuesdays and Fridays for gym unless students are told differently.

B. 12:00 Dismissal today due to a Faculty Meeting. ASP will be in session.

C. March calendars will be handed out on Wednesday, 2/28. Please check your child's bag for a copy.

D. Friday, 3/2 Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss- students can dress up as Dr. Seuss characters if they wish to take part in the costume contest which will take place in the lunchroom at 2:00PM.

GRADES 6, 7, 8  
A. All classwork/homework must be completed in blue or black ink (other colors will not be accepted).  

B. If an assignment states that looseleaf is to be used, no other types of paper will be accepted (paper ripped out of notebooks or legal pads is unacceptable).
   
C. Homework must be handed in on the day due unless I receive a note from a parent explaining why you did not complete your HW. This will only be accepted if there is an emergency at home (not because you were too tired or that you had too much other HW). 

D. Homework and classwork must be neat. Work that is sloppy or illegible will not be accepted.

C. Wednesday, 2/21 at 9:30 AM, there will be performances by the students in Grades 4-8 in honor of African American Heritage Month. The children may wear nice clothes (no jeans or sneakers) for the performance.

B. No school on Monday, 2/19 in honor of Presidents Day.

C. Wednesday, February 14- The children can wear red in honor of Valentine’s Day. The 8th grade will also be having a cake sale if they want to bring money.

D. Thursday, February 15- The children can dress down. We will be having a party for Valentine’s Day/100th Day of School. The children can bring something to drink and bring a snack to share with the class. Parents, please let your child know what they will be bringing in so everyone isn’t bringing in the same thing.
