REMINDERS: 

Please refer to the schedule below to check the times that you must be online for your classes. You will be given assignments during class and must submit them before the end of the day. Please ask questions while we are online if you do not understand something. Parents may email me at mstoscano@olqmnyc.org if they would like to speak to me. I will be calling/texting parents of students that are not online for class, not submitting work, or work is poor quality! 

***Remember you are required to complete 2 sessions of Success Maker per week- Tuesdays and Thursdays. This will be checked and added to your grade.

Also Grade 6 you will need your SS workbook for Wednesday this week. 

Grades 7 and 8- please make sure that you have read Chapters 1-4 of The Outsiders.

Please check Google Classroom for Classwork and Homework for your child's class. If you have any questions, you can email me at mstoscano@olqmnyc.org.  During the times listed above, I will be working with the students through assignments listed on google classroom. Please make sure your child logs in each day at their scheduled time. They will have until 11:59PM each day to submit classwork assignments. HW assignments/Projects will have their own dates.

Due to the growing concern of the coronavirus, the students will be given work to complete online until classes resume. Please continue to check this blog, Mr. Woods’ blog, and your child’s google classroom for updated information and assignments.

Grade 6:
ELA/Reading Homework for Grade 6

1. The 6th grade is reading Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. Please read chapter 5 by Monday, 3/23.
I will be posting questions on Google classroom later in the week on Chapters 1-4.

2.The students will also continue to review for the NYS ELA Exam.
In Test Booklet 2019 (Session 2) please complete questions 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, and 41. Remember these are short response questions-RACE. Please type the answer to these questions on a google doc or a word document and attach it to google classroom. I will be checking this and giving you a grade. These questions should be submitted by Friday, March 20.

3.Success Maker- please complete an hour of Language Arts for the week (Monday-Friday).

4. A Common Lit story/poem will be assigned during the week.
