Ready Gen (savvasrealize.com)-We will be working on Unit 3. We will be reviewing short vowel sounds, syllabication, nouns, making sentences, and writing paragraphs. The children should review when to use a capital letter and punctuation at the end of the sentence. The children will receive new vocabulary words for the stories in Unit 3. We will be reviewing these words in class, and they should review them at home (a few each night).

It is important for them to bring a book to school every day to read in school for silent reading. It can be the same book that he/she is reading at home or a different book. We are trying to build fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.
