2nd GRADE LESSON PLANS AND FINAL EXAM REVIEW OUTLINE FOR READING AND ELA- WEEK OF MAY 31,2010

REMINDERS:

1. Remember to read the purple assignment book and check the HW folder each night to know your child's homework for each day.

2. Your child needs to remember to bring all of their school supplies every day. Many children are coming to class with no pencils or looseleaf.

3. Remember that Homework counts as a grade and many children are not completing it. Check your child’s Reading and Language Arts NB every day to see if I have written you a note. If your child is absent from school, he/she is still responsible to complete the HW and get any notes that may have been given. See blog for HW and tests for the week.

4. The second grade is reading Ira Sleeps Over. Make sure your child reads every day. Notes were started in the back of the Reading NB. The children should complete the notes by writing the settings, characters, and a summary of important details. The Book Test will be Thurs. 6/3.

5. The outline for studying for Final Exams can be found below. There will be no written homework given this week in order to study for Final Exams.
