Week of April 3, 2017

Reminders:

1. Please check Mr. Woods’ blog for information concerning Report Cards and other announcements.

2. The fifth graders need to wear gym uniforms every Wednesday.

3. Please check the blog and Google Classroom for updated homework assignments or announcements.

4. Everyone needs to bring in a strong shopping bag (no plastic bags or garbage bags) to pack the books that are staying in school over the Easter vacation.

5. Reports Cards will be distributed on Thursday before dismissal.

6. Friday, 4/7 Dismissal will be at 12:00. Parent/Teacher Conferences will take place between the hours of 3:00-8:00.

Remember that homework and classwork count as a grade!

Module 4: the fifth grade will be reading Eight Days: A Story of Haiti by Edwidge Danticat. We will be starting this book after the break, so please purchase it or if you would like me to order it, the money must be in by Thursday, 4/6. The price of the book is $5.00.

Tuesday: Read pages 208-219. Answer questions on page 213 #s 1 and 3, and on page 219 #s 1 and 3. Due on Thursday, April 6.
