Week of Sept. 6, 2010: 5th Grade Reading

We will be reviewing basic vocabulary and comprehension skills for the first few weeks of school. Your child received a Reading Textbook and Practice Book. We will be reading the first story in Theme 1 called Copycat and the vocabulary will be written in the Reading NB.

Homework for Thursday, Sept. 9,2010

On looseleaf, write all questions and answers on page 4 of the Practice Book. Please underline your answers. Remember to have a complete heading on your looseleaf. Late, sloppy, incomplete, or incorrect HW will result in points being deducted from your assignment. Not writing the questions is considered incomplete HW (unless it is specified to write answers only)!!!!!!!!

Copying and assignment from another student will result in both students getting a grade of zero, so don't lend anyone your HW!!!!!

All of your school supplies for Reading and the papers that need to be signed by your parents are due tomorrow, Friday.
