Week of September 6, 2010: 6th Grade Reading

We will be reviewing basic vocabulary and comprehension skills for the first few weeks of school. Your child should have received a Reading Textbook and Practice Book. We will be reading the first story of Theme 1 called The All American Slurp. The vocabulary words for this story will be written in the Reading NB.

Homework for Thursday, September 9, 2010

On looseleaf, write all questions and answers on page 4 of the Practice Book. Please underline your answers. Remember to have a complete heading on your looseleaf. Late, sloppy, incomplete, or incorrect HW will result in points being deducted from your assignment. Not writing the questions is considered incomplete HW (unless it is specified to write answers only)!!!!!!!!

Copying and assignment from another student will result in both students getting a grade of zero, so don't lend anyone your HW!!!!!

All of your school supplies for Reading are due tomorrow, Friday.
