Reminders:
1. These are a few reminders concerning homework and
classwork:
A. All work must be completed in
blue or black ink (other colors will not be accepted).
B. If the assignment states
that looseleaf is to be used, no other types of
paper will be accepted (paper ripped out of notebooks or
legal pads is unacceptable.
C. Homework must be handed in on the
day due, unless I receive a note
from a parent explaining why you did not complete your HW.
This will only be accepted if there is an emergency at home or you were
sick.
D. Homework and classwork must be
neat. Work that is sloppy or illegible will not be accepted.
3. All students need to bring Rosary Beads to school for the May Procession this Friday, May 31. All children that made their First Holy Communion should wear their Communion outfits. All other students should be in uniform; NO NUT CARDS !
Remember
that homework and classwork count as a grade!

The book being read for Unit 5 is The Little Prince by Antoine de
Saint-Exupery.
Read Chapters XV-XXII (up to p. 64).
Write the vocabulary and definitions in your vocabulary notebook.
Due Thursday, May 30, 2013.
Reading Questions are due on looseleaf, Friday, 5/31.
The answers can be found on pages 19-40.
1. What does the Little Prince say is the problem with the baobabs?
2. Discuss the clues that tell that the Little Prince misses his home.
3. Discuss the developing relationship between the pilot and the Little Prince as they continue to learn about each other's lives. How does the pilot react to the prince's sadness?
4. Discuss the Little Prince's preparations for leaving his planet and what does this reveal about him.
