REMINDERS:

2. Remember to read the purple assignment book and check the HW folder each night to know your child's homework for each day.

3. Your child needs to remember to bring all of their school supplies every day.

4. The children were given a book to read called the War with Grandpa. The tests will be similar to last year's tests and it is important for them to take notes as they read. Notes will be written in the back of the Reading NB and will be started in class. The children will be able to use their notes on the test but not the book. The book test will be on Friday, Oct. 9, 2009.

TESTS: 

1. Vocabulary Test on words in the Vocabulary NB Friday, 10/2.

2. Spelling Test on this week’s words, Friday, 10/2.

VOCABULARY:

1. 5 words for the week (will be tested on Friday). Check the Vocabulary NB for these words.

4. I would appreciate if each child would bring a box of tissues if they have not already done so.

5. Please check the school blog every day for HW updates and information. It is impossible for the children to copy down everything so please make it a priority to check the blog. Please remember to click under Mrs. Larios, the week and 2^nd Grade.

6. Remember that HW counts as a grade and many children are not completing it. Check your child’s Reading and Language Arts NB every day to see if I have written you a note.

1. Vocabulary Test Friday Oct.2 on the 15 words in the Vocabulary Notebook. These words will be chosen by all Ms. Saville, Mr. Badia, and I. You must check each teacher's blog to see the words that will be given each week.
