Supply Lists for the 2019-2020 School Year: Grade 4 (Homeroom), Grades 6-7-8 (Reading/ELA and Social Studies)


Incoming 4th Grade: Supplies needed for Homeroom only

·        1 plastic folder with two pockets at the bottom

·        2 large boxes of Kleenex tissues

·        1 large bottle of hand sanitizer

·        2 large containers of Clorox or Lysol disinfecting wipes

·        1 can of Lysol spray

·        2 large rolls of paper towels

·        2 reams of copy/printing paper (8 ½ x 11)

·        A lunchbox if you bring your lunch to school

      All supplies must be in on the first day of classes.
      Please label all books and supplies with your name and grade

  • 3 large marble notebooks (each notebook should have 100 pages or more)
1 should be labeled ELA/Reading
1 should be labeled Social Studies Notes
1 should be labeled Social Studies Vocabulary
  • 3 plastic folders- pockets should be at the bottom (not on the side)
1 should be labeled Homework for ELA/Reading
1 should be labeled Social Studies
       1 should be labeled ELA/Reading
  • lots of loose-leaf- (It is your responsibility to make sure that you always have loose-leaf available.
  • 3 packages of index cards (3x5, white, lined)
  • 1 box of yellow highlighters to highlight text
  • 2 black thin sharpie markers
  • 4 packages of sticky notes (needed for annotating text)
  • 1 binder with 3 metal rings (the metal rings should be 2-3 inches large and round-not D shaped). You will keep your My Perspectives textbook inside of the binder, so it does not rip. I will have an example at the Parent Meeting in September if the 6th grade is not sure. 7th and 8th grades already know what to buy.
  • pens-black or blue and red (no other colors allowed, and no markers)
  • 1 box of #2 pencils with erasers
  • 1 box of colored pencils
  • 1 pair of scissors
  • 1 glue stick
  • 1 ruler
  • 1 pencil sharpener
  • 1 pencil case or some type of bag to keep your supplies in
  • 1 box of quart-sized zip-lock bags
  • 1 large box of tissues
  • Clear book covers to cover the Voyages textbook, Voyages workbook, and Social Studies textbook. Please label each in case you lose one of them.
       All supplies should be brought in on the first day of classes!
       Please label all books and supplies with your name and grade.

7th grade, please finish reading Esperanza's Rising.

8th grade, please finish reading To Kill a Mockingbird.
