Reminders:
1. These are a few reminders concerning
homework and classwork:
A. All work must be completed in blue or
black ink (other colors will not be accepted).
B.
If the assignment states that looseleaf is to be used, no other types
of
paper
will be accepted (paper ripped out of notebooks or legal pads is unacceptable.
C.
Homework must be handed in on the day due, unless I receive a note
from a parent explaining why you did
not complete your HW.
This will only be accepted if there
is an emergency at home or you were sick.
D. Homework and classwork must be neat. Work
that is sloppy or illegible will not be accepted.
2. Tuesday is Gym for the
5th Grade. Remember to wear Gym uniform.
3. The updated Unit 1
Exam Schedule is as follows:
Weds, 10/24- Reading and Math
Thurs, 10/25- ELA and Social Studies
Friday, 10/26- Science and Religion
4. Halloween Party for 5th
Grade – bring in $2 for pizza by Friday, 10/26. More details about the party will
be on next week’s blog.
5. Each student in grades
5-8 will have to order a new book for Unit 2 which will begin this week.
The name of the book and
the price is below under the Homework for the week. You can purchase it
yourself, or I can order it for you. All money is due by Thursday, 10/25, so
the books can be ordered
Remember that homework and classwork count as a grade!
There will be no weekly quiz on Friday or on Monday due to Unit
1 testing.
