Reminders:
These are a few reminders
concerning homework and classwork:
A. If the assignment
states that looseleaf is to be used, no other types of paper will be
accepted (paper ripped out of notebooks or legal pads is unacceptable).
B. All work must be completed in blue or black ink (other colors
will not be accepted).
C. Homework and classwork must be neat. Work that is sloppy or
illegible will not be accepted.
D. Homework must be handed in on the day due, unless I receive a
not from a parent explaining why you did not complete your HW. This will
only be accepted if there is an emergency at home (not because you
were too tired or that you had too much other HW).
E. Please cover the New York Progress book. A clear plastic
cover is suggested.
F. Gym uniforms must be worn on Thursdays for gym.
G. Please check the blog daily for updated homework assignments
or
notifications.
H. November is Canned Food Month. We will be collecting food for
the St. Patrick’s Home in the Bronx. Please send in as many cans as possible.
The last day to send in cans is November 25.
I. All students should be in full uniform on Wednesday, whether
they paid for the picture or not.
J. Report Cards will be distributed on Friday, 11/21. If your
child does not receive a Report Card in school, a parent must meet with the
teachers between the hours of 1:00-7:00PM to discuss their child’s academic
progress. Dismissal on Friday will be at 12:00. Afterschool Program will be in
session.
K. All AIS forms must be returned tomorrow signed by a parent.
You will receive a copy with your child’s Report Card on Friday.
Remember that homework and classwork count as a grade!
