Weekly Reminders:
These are a few reminders concerning homework and classwork:
Grades 6, 7, 8
A. All classwork/homework must be completed in blue or black ink (other colors will not be accepted).
B. If an assignment states that looseleaf is to be used, no other types of paper will be accepted (paper ripped out of notebooks or legal pads is unacceptable).
C. Homework must be handed in on the day due unless I receive a note from a parent explaining why you did not complete your HW. This will only be accepted if there is an emergency at home (not because you were too tired or that you had too much other HW).
D. Homework and classwork must be neat. Work that is sloppy or illegible will not be accepted.
Grade 4
E. Gym uniforms must be worn by 4th graders on Tuesdays and Fridays for gym unless students are told differently.
F. Midterm Exams:
1/22, Monday-Religion
G. Today- Monday, 1/22- 12:00 Dismissal due to a Faculty Meeting. The Afterschool Program is in regular session.
ELA/Reading Homework for Grade 6
For Unit 2, the 6th grade is reading The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling. Please finish the book this week. Highlight important facts, characters, and vocabulary.
Front Row: Please complete the new assignment by Friday, 1/26.
Homework for this week in My Perspectives (Pearson Realize) will be assigned during class. You will be completing practice worksheets to review skills from Unit 1.
We will be starting Unit 2 this week.

Monday,1/22- Write the vocabulary words and definitions in your Social Studies Vocabulary NB. Please remember your AIM and skip a line between each definition. Due Wednesday, 1/24.
Tuesday,1/23- Read pages 632-641 in your Social Studies textbook. Complete questions 1a, 1b, 2b, 3a, 3b. Due Thursday, 1/26.
