Weekly Reminders:
GRADE 4-HOMEROOM

A. Gym uniforms must be worn by 4th graders on Wednesdays for gym unless students are told differently.

B. December Calendars will be given out today, Monday.

C. Thursday,12/6-Native American Heritage Presentations Grades 3-8 in the lunchroom at 9:00 AM. All parents are invited to attend.

D. Friday, 12/7- Mass at 9:00 AM for the Immaculate Conception (Holiday on December 8). All parents are invited to attend.

A. All classwork/homework must be completed in blue or black ink (other colors will not be accepted and no pencil).  

B. Please make sure that you have loose-leaf. Paper cannot be ripped out of a notebook.

Monday,12/3:  Define each word below in your Social Studies Vocabulary NB. Please use the glossary in the back of the SS text and write the entire definition. If it isn’t in the book, you can search for it online. Just make sure the definition goes with what we are discussing. Due Thursday, 12/6

Tuesday,12/4: Read pages 136-143 in the Social Studies textbook. On loose-leaf, answer the following questions. You may restate the question in the answer. All answers can be found on the pages you are reading this week in your textbook.  Due Friday,12/7

This week we will be reading from Bad Boy. We will be reviewing synonyms and antonyms, annotating text, and biographical writing.

My Perspectives (Pearson)- Please review (in your textbook or online at Pearson Realize) the story, vocabulary, and concepts (word study and conventions) that we are working on in class.

This week in grammar we will be starting pronouns. We will also be reviewing how to use the dictionary.

This week in grammar we will be starting adjectives. We will also be reviewing run on sentences and redundant words.
