WEEKLY REMINDERS:
GRADE 7-HOMEROOM
A. Please sign into
Google Classroom and press on the link for Zoom. You will stay connected from
8:00-3:00. Whatever teacher you have will let you know if you have a bathroom
break or lunch break. Please read Mr. Woods’ blog for rules about remote
learning (home). Attendance will be taken during each class. This link will be
good for the rest of the school year (2020-2021).
B. Remember to wear a mask and bring your supplies each day.
C. If your child must
leave school early or come in late due to an appointment, please have
them attend classes remotely.
D. Make sure to read Mr. Woods blog for other important
information.
E. Please remember
to reregister for the 2021-2022 school year!
F. NYS ELA Test will be given on
Thursday, 4/22 from 9:00 AM-10:30 AM. Remote students must still sign in at the
regular time (8:00 AM) and will be given an assignment to do while the ELA Exam
is being given. Students taking the exam should
have 3 sharpened # 2 pencils for the Exam.
G. A time schedule has
been posted on Google Classroom to sign up for parent/teacher conferences on
Friday, April 23. The times will start at 1:00PM and finish at 5:45PM. Please
sign up if you would like to speak with me about your child’s grades. Report
Cards will also be distributed on Friday, and Honor Awards will be distributed
next week at Mass (for in-person students).

ELA/Reading Homework for Grade 6
1. Homework this week will be working on a NYS ELA Exam from 2018. The actual numbers will be assigned in class depending on what is finished during class time. Remember the TEST IS ON THURSDAY….BRING PENCILS!!!
2. Remember to work on Edgenuity for ELA every day for at least 20 minutes. It is a good review for MAP testing. This is mandatory…not
optional.
3. You should read a
book of your choice each day for at least 20 minutes. This will help you to
learn more vocabulary and become more fluent.
Social Studies Homework for Grade 6
Unit 3- Ancient Hebrews
Chapters 6 and 7: The Origins of Judaism
In the Discovery Education online textbook, it can be found in Unit
3- Chapter 8 Ancient Hebrews: Culture and Beliefs of the Ancient Hebrews 8.1
Notes will be posted
on Google Classroom this week for Chapter 6. The due date is Friday, April 23 before
8:00 AM. The notes will go from #185-#201.
