4.A Mother's Day Draft will be due on Weds, 5/6 in the Lang. Arts NB. It should be 3 paragraphs long. When it is corrected it will be re-written or typed and you will need to make a cover for it. It is titled "My Mom Is Special".

4. A new book was given out on Friday 4/24. Your child should read a few chapters every night and more on the weekend. The notes for the book will be started in the back of the Reading Notebook. Please make sure that your child reads the book because many of the children are lowering their Reading grade because of not doing well on the book tests. The test for this book will be May 21.

4.A new book will be distributed this week for the children to read( girls will read The Story of Jumping Mouse and boys will be reading Johnny Appleseed). Please make sure that your child reads for thirty mins. each night and takes notes on important details. Notes will be started in the back of the Reading Notebook.
5. The children will need to write a paragraph (minimum of 6 sentences) titles "Mother's Day is A Special Day" . This should be done on looseleaf and the children should also make a cover for it. This will be due on Weds. 5/6.

5. There will be a 12:00 dismissal Tuesday, 4/21 due to Parent Conferences and Weds., 4/22 due to a Faculty Meeting.
6. Report Cards will be distributed on Tues., 4/21. If your child does not receive his/her Report Card in school, then you need to see Mr. Badia, Ms. Saville, or myself concerning any problems.
