Weekly Reminders:
GRADE 4-HOMEROOM

A. Gym uniforms must be worn by 4th graders on Wednesdays for gym unless students are told differently.

B. 12:00 Dismissal today- Monday (Faculty Meeting)

C. Remember all students are to come to the church in the morning for Prayers. Anyone that does not arrive before the Pledge of Allegiance will be marked late or absent.

D. Weds, 2/27- African American History Month Presentations 8:30-10:00. All parents are welcome to attend.

E. Thurs, 2/28- Progress reports will be sent home today. Please sign and return tomorrow (Friday).

F. Friday, 3/1- 12:00 Dismissal due to faculty professional development. The ASP will be in session.

G. Friday, 3/1- Dr. Seuss Dress Up Day. Costume Contest@ 10:00AM for Grades 1-8. Parents are invited to attend.

A. All classwork/homework must be completed in blue or black ink (other colors will not be accepted and no pencil).  

B. Please make sure that you have loose-leaf and a pen every day. Paper cannot be ripped out of a notebook.

C. Remember homework counts as part of the total grade!

Study all of Chapter 4 notes for the Social Studies Test on Thursday, 2/28.
Make sure you have copied all the notes into your Social Studies notebook. You will be given information about the short response question in class on Tuesday so you may prepare the response ahead of time.

We will be reading from My Life with the Chimpanzees this week by Jane Goodall. This selection is a first-person narrative.

1. Define the following literary terms using your textbook (page R43-R47). This must be completed in your notebook with the date and the Aim: To define literary terms for the Week of…. You must write the complete definition. Due Friday, 3/1.

2. Common Lit- complete article. Due Monday, 3/4

3. Voyages Practice Book- page 112 Semicolons. Follow the directions for each section! Odd numbers only. Complete in your notebook. Due Thursday, 2/28.
