Grade
6:
ELA/Reading Homework for Grade 6
The 6th grade will be reading Percy Jackson and
the Olympians: The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. The
publisher is Disney-Hyperion and the publication date is 2006.
The children can buy or order the book themselves or I can order
it for them. The book with tax is $6.50. If you would like me to order the book
for you, please have the money in by/before Tuesday, 2/18. We will begin
reading the book on Monday, February 24 (unless the books have not arrived yet).
The 6th
grade is working on Unit 2- Animal Allies in My Perspectives. This week
we continue reading from “My Life with Chimpanzees” by Jane Goodall. Homework
will be assigned in class during the week.
My
Perspectives (Pearson)- Please review the story, vocabulary, and concepts (word
study and conventions) that we are working on in class in your textbook or
online in Pearson Realize.

****Common Lit and No Red Ink will be assigned in class. You can also complete this during
Computer Class.
**** Success Maker-
please complete an hour of Language Arts each week. This includes what you
complete in school.

publication date is 4/20/2006.
