GRADE 4-HOMEROOM
Due to the growing concern of the coronavirus, the students will be given work to complete online until classes resume. Please continue to check this blog, Mr. Woods’ blog, and your child’s google classroom for updated information and assignments.

HOMEWORK: For the Week of March 16,2020: Grades 6,7,8

Grade 6:
ELA/Reading Homework for Grade 6

1. The 6th grade is reading Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. Please read chapter 5 by Monday, 3/23.
I will be posting questions on Google classroom later in the week on Chapters 1-4.

2.The students will also continue to review for the NYS ELA Exam.
In Test Booklet 2019 (Session 2) please complete questions 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, and 41. Remember these are short response questions-RACE. Please type the answer to these questions on a google doc or a word document and attach it to google classroom. I will be checking this and giving you a grade. These questions should be submitted by Friday, March 20.

3.Success Maker- please complete an hour of Language Arts for the week (Monday-Friday).

4. A Common Lit story/poem will be assigned during the week.


Social Studies Homework for Grade 6

Unit 2: Mesopotamia, Egypt, and Kush/ Chapter 5: Nubia and Kush

1.Monday,3/16: Read pages 172-183 in your textbook. Type the answer to the following questions on a google document or word document and attach it to your google drive- Remember to restate your question in the answer. Please also use a full heading and the page number of each question.
The questions must be submitted by Friday, 3/20.

I will be posting questions on Google classroom later in the week on Chapters 1-4.

2. The students will also continue to review for the NYS ELA Exam.
