Week of March 3, 2014

Reminders:
1. These are a few reminders concerning homework and classwork:

A. All work must be completed in blue or black ink (other colors will not be accepted).

B. If the assignment states that looseleaf is to be used, no other types of paper will be accepted (paper ripped out of notebooks or legal pads is unacceptable.

C. Homework must be handed in on the day due, unless I receive a not from a parent explaining why you did not complete your HW. This will only be accepted if there is an emergency at home (not because you were too tired or that you had too much other HW).

D. Homework and classwork must be neat. Work that is sloppy or illegible will not be accepted.

 2. Grades 5 and 6 working with me for PBL. Please bring your iPads or laptops (if you have one) on Friday. We will continue to put the information on PowerPoint.

****3. A reminder- Parents should not e-mail teachers. If you need to send a teacher a message, you must send it to Mr. Woods first, and then he will forward it to the teacher. It is an Archdiocesan policy that teachers are not permitted correspond to e-mails from parents.

4. Students should be reviewing work from the previous week on the weekend. They should not be starting homework for the coming week, since that work has not yet been introduced in class. Homework is a review of all work students have learned during the week. All students have books to read for Reading class and should take the opportunity to do that on the weekends.

5. Calendars and Map of the Month will be distributed today.

6. The children may dress up on Tuesday for Hippie Day. There will be a contest for the best costume.

7. Lip Sync Contest is Tuesday, 3/2/14. Buy your tickets ahead of time!!!

Remember that homework and classwork count as a grade!
