C. Homework must be handed in on the day due unless I receive a note from a parent explaining why you did not complete your HW. This will only be accepted if there is an emergency at home (not because you were too tired or that you had too much other HW).

E. Gym uniforms must be worn by 5th graders on Wednesdays for gym.

F. Extended Day classes -The fifth grade will attend extended day class for Math on Tuesday with Mr. Placido and on Wednesday for ELA with Ms. Serewko. The classes will begin at 3:00 and finish at 5:00.

G. Please check the blog daily for updated homework assignments or notifications. Make sure that you read Mr. Woods blog for other important announcements.

H. Fifth Grade Students- Tomorrow is Halloween. Our class will be having a party starting at lunchtime. We will be ordering pizza. Each child was asked to bring in $5. Each student should also bring in something to drink (for themselves) and something to share with the class such as cookies, cupcakes, donuts, candy, etc. The children may wear their costumes to school, but no weapons are allowed! Also, children will need to bring their bookbags since we will be having class in the morning.

J. On Tuesday, 11/1 the 5th Grade will be hosting the Mass for All Saints’ Day at 9:00AM. All parents are invited to attend.

K. Friday, 11/4 there will be a 12:00 dismissal due to a Faculty Meeting.

L. Books for Module 2 are posted below according to class. You can purchase or order the book(s) yourself, or I can order for you. If you need me to order, the money is due on Friday, 11/4. It takes about a week to process the order, and I don’t want other students to wait for their books.

Remember that homework and classwork count as a grade!
