2. 4th grade ELA State Exam- the children will be taking the NYS exam in Reading and Language Arts next Tues. 1/13, Weds. 1/14, and Thurs. 1/15. Please download previous tests from the website that was given in December (check blog- http://www.nysedregents.org/testing/elaei/08exams/home.htm). It is a very good way to practice for the test and will give you a chance to see the different parts of the test.
3. Some students did not hand in their assignment on "Why Christmas is Special to Me". This assignment counts as a writing, homework, and speech grade. It is very important for your child to hand in all assignments because they each count as one or more grades.
